A One Day Symposium titled "Tracking the Emergence and Global Spread of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD)" was held to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Designation of the Pirbright Laboratory of the Institute for Animal Health as FAO World Reference Laboratory for FMD.
